OIL IN AIR FILTER on 1989 Chevy beretta Gt

I was changing the air filter recently on my 89' beretta gt and i noticed that there was oil on the filter and sitting inside the hose. Can anyone help me out? :?:

your problem sounds like blow by, high milage, my dads old ford crown vic has 179,000 on it and does the same, it will also pop the dipstick out under hard acceleration. my 91 camaro will blow it out the oil filler, if the cap is off while running. it has 182,348.

my car did the same and it was a head gasket leak!!! I wanted to blow the thing up instead of getting it fixed!!
