I have a 1989 chevy beretta with 150,000 miles, automatic, and have a minor problem braking. Sometimes when I'm stopping the brake pedal gets loose or mushy half way through my stop and I have to release it and pump it again just to stop. It has new brakes and the fluid is full and doesn't leak. Some have said it might be a vacuum hose but I don't know.
