What would cause my vehicle to immediatly stop after accelerating again coming off an overpass on the freeway. I live only 1 block off the freeway and about 8 blocks from where I started to where it died. It made a noise similar to the one you hear when you attempt to start your vehicle and it is already running. It tries to turn over but does not run. Please help me with any possible estimation as to what it could be so I know weather or not I want to repair it.

Hi there,
Thank you for the donation.

What you will have to do first is see if the engine has seized, try and turn the engine over on the stater with out any spark plugs fitted, if it wont turn on the starter try turning it by hand. Check that it has not run low on oil or coolant, if the motor has seized it will have to be dismantled to inspect the damage before any estimate on repairs can be made. If the motor still turns re post your findings and we will investigate this further.
