Electrical problem
1990 Chevy Beretta 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 189k miles

My Beretta has ran fine the past year that I have had it but recently it has developed a problem. Ther is no fire going through to the plugs. I had the ignition module checked its good and I dont think all three coil packs would go out at the same time. Next the crankshaft position sensor this I dont think would let the car run at all if it was bad. And the MAP Sensor and the Idle Control Valve are still in good condition. Someone said it was the fuel filter or the battery. The battery turns the car over normally and filter is free of cloggs.

How would the fuel filter kill the spark when all it does is filter. The fuses are all good it doesnt have a relay pack in the engine compartment just a couple on the firewalls.

So my question is what the heck is going on?

The fuel filter has nothing to do with spark, what does, have a major role and gives me my first suspicion is the the crank position sensor, I would definitely look into that do you have power coming out of the coil pack?
