1989 Chevy Beretta The engine doesnt rev up

when i start the vehical it kinda purrs but when i put on the gas it dies sometimes it will idle rough replaced the air and throttle position sensor check vac hoses even under top metal plate on engine

check the throttle position sensor, also known as the tps and check fuel pressure.
