1989 Chevy Beretta 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

My running lights and brake lights work but the rear
driver side turn signal does not,and if I do put on the turn signal so someone in front of me knows my intention is to turn then the running lights and brake lights stop working until I turn off the vehicle again.
I checked the bulb and it does not look to be burned out.Any ideas?

check your flasher fuse, which is located under the dash to the left of the steering column,
