Brakes problem
2006 Chevy Aveo 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Hey thanks for the help!

I am not sure how long they have been out but my brake lights are not working. My brother and i have checked all the lights and changed out one of the brake light bulbs that was out. Checked all the fuses and all the other lights. The brake lights still dont work. my mom looked up online that with those diagnostics it may be a broken brake switch. If so what do i need to do to fix it and approximately what is the cost?

Thanks again

thats correct, its a little switch that should be located right behind the brake pedal, or just above the brake pedal, it unplugs and you plug the new one in. very simple, just go to the parts place and ask for a brake light switch. and they will give you what you need, should be inexpensive, somewhere around 30.00
