Engine Performance problem
2004 Chevy Aveo 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 70000. miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
I just had the timing belt changed and now the check engine light is on and when it is idle it acts like it wants to die but it doesnt. It runs fine once it is going down the road. I ask the guy that changed the belt and he said that sometimes it takes awhile for all the sensors to come back on line. Is this true and what would make it not want to idle??

It probably has to go thru a computer relearning to regain the target speed thru the idle air control valve.
