2007 Chevy Avalanche V8 Two Wheel Drive 23,000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
Hello,
Recently the transmission in my 07 Avalanche went out with no warning or indication that there was a problem. Chevy replaced it and now it seems that the temp on the transmission seems to always be between 190 and 200 degrees. The temp in our 07 Chevy Silverado never seems to get over about 160. Should we be concerned with the temp differences in the two vehicles?
Thanks,
Kathy

That is still in the normal range. The avalanche is a heavier vehicle than the silverado, so you should expect a slight temp difference.
