Most you can access the bulb socket from under the hood. If that is not possible, look along the rad support behind the assembly. You will see black slides that will slide up so you can remove the assembly.
Hello, my name is Robert and I own a 2005 Chevy Avalanche 1500 without the body cladding/plastic pieces. I want to change my fatory headlights out for a set of Euro projector headlights with the halo. The problem is I can only find them for the 2005 Chevy Silverado 1500. My question to you is are they the same headlights? Will they fit on my truck?

Hi:
I believe the mounting brackets are different. Please confirm that with the light manufacturer.
Sorry, but I don't know the manufacturer or have cross reference information for you.
Joe

On the driverside you must remove the battery to access the bulb. It is a tight fit so you've really got to work at it.
