Driver's side power seat will not move up and down; all other functions of the power seat work; i can hear the motor humming when trying to adjust seat up and down; nothing is obstructing the seat

Hi:
Make sure the motor under the seat isn't loose. Let me know what you find. Also, if you can hear the motor trying to move the seat and it is tight, chances are there is a gear broken internally.
