2005 Chevy Avalanche high oil pressure

Most of your answers to high oil pressure question say sender is down by oil filter, (misleading) I have same problem on my 2005 avalanche and sending unit is on top of engine block, driverside by firewall. Good luck getting to it. I can probably get it out but I don't think I could get new one in.

It's located behind the oil filter. You may have to remove the sheid to acess the pressure sensor
