Steering problem
2005 Chevy Avalanche V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

When making a right or left turn I feel play coming from the front end on the steering wheel like something is loose or not tighten. Is this the shock?

Hi:
It's hard to tell not being there. If you are hearing a noise, it could be a shock, but loosness in the steering can come from many things. If it's a sound you hear, check the shocks and sway bar and bushings. If you feel it in the steering, check all front end components such as tie rods, ball joints, pitman arms...

Let me know if you have any other questions.
