have noticed very minor shortlived slipping in drive not enough to really get excited about recently, i tow approx 3500lb utility trailer in town never over 40 mi per hr i tow using my tow button at the end of my shift lever and #3 not overdrive, yesterday i had just hooked up, drove about a block slowed to turn right accelerated and i heard a loud pop and noticed i was not accelerating any longer no drive no #3 only #2 #1 and reverse oil fluid looks good no burnt smell. what do you think happened and how can i repair w/o going broke thanks !
