2003 Chevy Avalanche Truck ignition locked

HI I am wondering if you could help me. I put my key in the ignition but it will not turn it is like it is locked up or something. Can you help?

Try a new key, anti theft light on?

If the new key wont work either try turning the wheel when turning it hard right, then a hard left while turning it.

If none of that is helping try lubing up the cylinder with graphite lock lube, if thats not it the cylinder is probably bad.
