2003 Chevy Avalanche removing rear rotors

i trying to remove the rear rotors and having a hard time. i have the calipers off. is the parking brake shoes the problem? i can move the rotor but it seems like it is stuck

Hi Dan,

Yes the e-brake is most likely keeping the rotor from coming off easily. You can check the back side for a access slot for the adjustment of the e-brake a try loosening the e-brake.
