I am going to buy a boat soon. Because of other circumstances, I will buy in FL and tow back to MI. I also may do this once or twice a year.
Is there anything I can do to try and prevent problems while driving. For example, replace wheel bearings before towing, changing gaer oil in axl...etc.
I have already installed a trans cooler.

Hi there,

Thank you for the donation,

The trans oil cooler is the most important thing to do, but i would consider (depending on the weight of the boat) fit a quality set of up rated 4X4 brake pads and flush the coolant and fit a new thermostat as you want to ensure a perfect cooling system so you have no over heating problems.
