2002 Chevy Avalanche V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

Got a 2002 avalance when coming to a stop and you step on the brake pedal there is a noise like the abs senser or wheel sensor but when you unplug the wheel sensor the noise goes away any ideas before i go in to debt on this truck.

If you are refering to the ABS wheel sensor at one of the wheels, I would say you have a bad one. If it actuates the ABS when plugged in and the problem goes away when it is removed, that would be my first guess. HAs the ABS light come on?
