cooling fan

1998 chevy cavalier 2.2L SFI with 58,400 miles cooling fan only works with ac on ive replaced coolant temp sensor and relay what else could it be

Could be a temperature switch other than the CTS-maybe the fan motor try running it direct to the battery to eliminate it.
