Our van shifts fine through first and second gear but as soon as i hit 40 mph it seems like it goes out of gear and then it revs up and never catches.I changed the filter today and it did not help at all ,i was wondering if you had any ideas ,i read online somewhere that you can disconnect the battery and wait a while , and i tried that to.Thanks for your time

that could help. and I would try that first. but then I would double check the amount of fluid you are putting in, maybe too much, then check the torque convertor clutch solenoid. and then torque convertor
