When I slow down at a light or in traffic the van stalls and the battery light comes on. I have noticed that the sterring begins to get tight, but no other signs of anything else wrong. The van starts right back up once it stalls. The alternator and battery have both been replaced recently. Any ideas? Thanks

Welcome to the forum, if It's a closed throttle issue, I'd take the throttle-body off and give it a cleaning, make sure all passsages are clear. Any codes? Some of the national brand autostores may check codes for free, if there are codes.

No, there are no codes that come up. Just the battery light comes on. Oh, the serpentine belt was changed too. Someone suggested that might be a problem. Could there be an issue with an intake leak?

Thanks!

Yes, it is possible. Looking at the fuel trim might give a hint?
