I pulled the neg battery cable and with a d.c. amp meter I had a 1.8 amp draw with nothing turned on and doors closed. I pulled the Battery fuse in the fuse box in the engine compartment and it went away. Where could my problem be?

Hi there,

You are on the right track here, just start with pulling all fuses one at a time to check the current draw, this may isolate the faulty circuit, and also remove the main wire and plug on the alt as a faulty diode will also do this, start here.
