2000 Chevy Astro hard starting

my wife's 2000 astrovan starts fine in the morning or when allowed to cool down, at other times it usually will start on the second attempt. What can cause this?

If you do not have a check engine light, then either fuel or ignition. Check fuel pressure during a hard start event with a mechanical gauge, if OK, then remove the ign. module and have it tested.
