When I start up the van after sitting, put it into drive, it doesn't want to move for a few seconds (the a/c was not turned off when I shut off the engine). The van shakes, then is normal, but then the overheating problem occurs. Very hot weather here in L.A. Lately. Do you have any advice for me? I'm selling this vehicle but don't want the new owner to have these problems.

Hello,

The not wanting to move for a few seconds can be the transmission fluid being low or needing changed.
The Over heating can possibly be fixed with changing the Thermostat.
On the Shaking when does it shake? During excelleration? At a paticular speed? It could possibly be an Bad Engine Mount, or caused by the Torque Converter.
