Did you do any testing, before you replaced anything? Any codes?
Use a spark tester on the coil wire or hold it close to an engine ground, while a helper cranks the engine, is there any spark? Is the coil wire ok?
You could also check for B+ and ground at the coil primary wires. Pink is B+ goes hot when you turn on the key, white with black tracer is ground, there should be a pulse on that wire with the engine cranking.
The rpm signal comes from the crank sensor, hall switch, three wires, ref voltage--ground-- signal. You can check those circuits.
