1999 Chevy Astro how to access the fan motor and the contro

1999 CHEVROLET ASTRO
122,000 MILES • 6 CYL • 2WD • AUTOMATIC

I have checked the fuse and it ohms ok. Now I want to get to the fan motor and the switch control but I am unsure how to access thes parts without tearing things up.

They are both located on the right hand side under and behind the dashboard .. i have never tried this job but can imagine it being a difficult job ... you may have to strip out dash to get to them ?
