Heater problem
1999 Chevy Astro 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

the ac/heat will only come through the defrost vent. How would I fix that? Thanks

Welcome to the forum. If the mode actuators are vacuum controlled, I'd check the vacuum source. Some makes and models, if the vacuum source is lost, the system will default to defrost mode.

Step 1 - A heater cannot operate unless the engine is full of coolant/antifreeze. If coolant level is low check the system for leaks.
