After driving on the freeway, when returning to surface streets the transmission slams from 1st to 2nd gears. Check engine light is on.
Too much trans fluid?
Computer problem?
Sensor problem?

First thing you'll need to do is have the computer scanned to find out what has triggered the check engine light. I'll need to know what codes are stored in memory and their descriptions. Please advise.
