My digital clock display stays on all the time, causing the battery to run down if vehicle isn't started for a couple days. The battery is good and the alternator is charging at 14.1 volts. What causes this to stay on and what can I do to remedy the problem?

If the clock stays lit, there may be a problem with the ignition switch (not shutting down).
