Engine Performance problem
1998 Chevy Astro 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

My van started to chug like it wanted to die but then it would be fine it did this while I pressed on the gas or the brake. It has now started stalling out but will restart. It took me a long time to get it to restart though the last time it died on me. I am wondering if the fuel filter needs to be replaced or do I just need to add fuel injecter cleaner to my gas tank?

Do simple tune up parts. If you do not replace the distributor cap and rotor, ignition wires, and spark plugs every 2 years, you will get stranded. Trust me, I am on my 4th Astro in 14 years.
