My 1998 astro stalls or barely runs when it rains out, it will start in the rain but about 10 min. After it starts skipping and bucking, backfiring sometimes, but let it sit a few and starts up but still wont run smoothly,
moisture doesn't effect it on foggy days just when it rains.
I have changed cap and rotor, wasn't going to put more $ in it till I can narrow it down.
so if you can help I sure would appreciate it, thank you and have a good day

It may be the pcm so have it scanned for codes first. Also you may need to fill pcm connection with dielectric grease then plug in connection. The pcm may be filled with water as well if it is it's shot.

Thank you for the response, I went had codes checked and gave back p0420 and p0300. I sprayed the o2 censor before converter and sure enough it started to skip and sputter. So I will change that first see what happens before I do plugs and coil pick-up. I did wires already, and I also sprayed them while running and didn't do nothing.
I will fill you in with results, thanks again guys

Behind the front passenger wheel, there is a plastic shroud that comes straight down and fastens to the wheel well on the right and on the left. The center flap of this shroud, folds straight up over the wheel A frame. If there is any problem with the center flap, your tire will spray your ignition coil with water because the ignition coil is right above that. That's what you have.
