I HAVE AN 1998 ASTRO VAN WITH A 163000 MILE IT STARTS UP AND IDEL FINE BUT WHEN I DRIVE IT AT ABOUT 10 TO 20 MPH AND TO 30 TO 35 MPH IT SPUTTERS UNTIL I HIT BOUT T 35 THEN IT SMOOTHS OUT BUT IF I JUST PULL OF REAL FAST IT WOULD DO IT JUST A LITTLE IF I PULL OFF SLOW IT WILL SPUTTER BAD. CRUISIN AT 35 AND I SLOW DOWN, THEN SPEED BACK UP IT WONT DO IT. NOW I HAVE CHANGED FUEL FILTER PLUGS HAVE BRAND NEW CAT. CONVERTER. I`M AT THE POINT OF THE CAP AND ROTOR AND SPARK PLUG WIRES IF THAT DONT WORK WHAT COULD IT BE. P.S I KNOW ABOUT HOW THE VORTEC MOTORS ARE KNOWN FOR SCREW UPS PLEASE DONT TELL ME THAT BAD ANSWER THE SPIDER INJECTOR IS BAD, I CHECKED THE PRESSURE IT HOLDS AT 60 PSI

Any codes? If not try looking at the MAF, unplug it and go for a test drive, any improvement? If so replace it. Don't forget to clean the throttle bore.

Do you have misfire codes? P0301. Etc. It can throw off how much air the PCM thinks it's burning. Will cause your symtoms. Try the advice before you reject it will ya?
