I had my fuel pump replaced last winter and about five months later the fuel guage started acting up. It may read full when the tank has dropped to 1/2 or even less. The mechanic that replaced the guage looked at it and said that the instrument cluster needed replaced. I purchased one from a salvage yard and replaced it. The problem is still the same. My mechanic now thinks that it is a wiring problem and wants to check out the wiring. I can not afford to go through that process at this time and would like to know if anyone can shed some light on my situation.
