New spark plugs & wires, distributor cap and router, throttle position sensor and fuel pump and inline fuel filter this summer. Start rebuild and new alternator in last 2 yrs. The van was tough starting just the other day sputtering and coughing added gas line antifreeze this seemed to clear it up. The next day it would not start no fire I can hear the fuel pump running, could this just be condensation in the distributor cap or is it deeper?

All/any help is greatly appreciated.

Well I solved my own problem. I tested the voltage to the ingintion module and it was good 12.54V then I tested the voltage to the coil and it was also good 12.54V so that told me that there was the proper current flowing through the ignition module. I read that if you "crank the motor over in the dark you can see the spark" so I cranked the engine in the dark and found a short across the top of the coil right beside the high tension wire lead to the distributor and the coil. Just to check I taped off the area around the ark and the van start right away. Now all I have to do is change out the coil and I'm positive all will be fine. Hope this helps someone else with any problems they might have.
