You have a vacuum leak. The air flow direction is done by vacuum actuated vent doors. If there is a loss of vacuum, it goes to the defroster. Check under the dash. If you are lucky, with the engine running, you may hear a hissing sound.

Let me know what you find.

Honestly, I feel strongly that there is a leak. I was hoping you would hear a hissing to help locate the problem. If you don't, you have to start following the vacuum hoses to see if any are damaged or disconnected.

Arizona... I thought it was hot here in PA. Nearing 100 degrees with like 80% humidity. It's hard to breath outside. But that probably sounds like winter to you. I have always wanted to visit AZ. Maybe some day when my kids are grown I'll have a chance.

Good job finding the leak. They are a pain, but I knew that is what it was. Take care of yourself, tell your friends and family about the web site, and thanks for using 2carpros.com.
