1996 Chevy Astro 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

when im sitting idle and i have my lights on they flicker to the idle of the van but once i give it gas they dont flicker anymore just when idle

Have the alt checked. It sounds like the voltage regulator may be going bad. Most parts stores will do it for free.
