1995 Chevy Astro not shifting when hot

when i am driving it will shift fine till it gets hot then it wont shift. I then have to switch off the ingnition wait a couple of seconds then turn it back on it will shft good as long as i start slow.When it is wet out it shfts really ruff

we need to scan the computer to see what codes are set. it sounds like your transmission is in limp mode when hot and there are several sensors or solenoids inside trans that could be the problem also a pressure plate at the bottom of valve body that goes bad and i have replaced those a hundred times but we need the codes to know for sure. 95 is a flop year and im not sure if the generic obd2 scanner can scan it but you can try. autozone will scan for codes for free if its the obd2 style
