1994 Chevy Astro Slams from first to second gear

My Astro van has just started to slam into 2nd gear when upshifting from 1st. Theres no engine light on and theres no codes to pull. The van has been serviced regularly and I just pulled the pan and filter and changed those, found nothing in the bottom of the pan. It doesnt do it when it the car is cold it takes approx 3-5 minutes to warm up before it happens. Also it whines out in first before slamming into 2nd.

It could be your transmission modoulator. modulator leaking fluid into vacuum system.
