Electrical problem
1994 Chevy Astro 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 200+ miles

How do I narrow down the problem with my electrical charging system? I've checked to see if the alternator belt is broken. It's not. Also checked for loose battery cables. They're tight. Are the only things left either the battery itself or the alternator itself? Or are there other things to check?
Thank you.
