1993 Chevy Astro really running ruff

Yes i have a chevy astro van and it's running real ruff on an idle. and feels like it's missing. when it's idleing i smells like gas real bad and getting real bad mileage. Could it be an EGR Valve?

I had this problem with my Olds Silloutte, It turned out to be one of the coil packs where bad, they can be removed individually and checked by Autozone...
