1993 Chevy Astro connector

the connector for the return hose snapped at the intake manifold the replacement is easy, but the threading from the old one is stuck in the manifold. i have tried a screw extractor but it is so corroded that it just enlarged the hole. now i have no way to remove it. Any tips would help

I'd remove the manifold, so crap doesn't get into the cooling system. You could try a left handed drill bit, reversing drill. I'd probably have to try different things, see what will work. You might be able to find a tap the same size as internal threads, work the tap and see if the old thread pieces from the broken part, will break out?
