They don't tell us that because you are not supposed to check it that way. Even if you order the dipstick from the dealer, they just give you one that is way too long and I assume this who is asking the length? Even though it has a dipstick tube there is no measuring device on it. Good idea, right? Like many car manufactures they have gone to a plug in the transmission pan that has a fluid level drain which allows the fluid to drain from the transmission pan to correct level.
