Check Gages light when idol.

I just got this 95 lebaron in good condition with a few cosmetic problems and some minor fixes needed but one I cant seem to pin down is the check gages light when i'm braked at a light I've also noticed that the speed is off by a good 5-10 mph varied every time I drive I love the car and I got it for a good deal according to a few people but I'm starting to have my doubts on that. I want to know if Its just a cheap part that someone who has little to no knowledge on cars can fix with some good help.

check gauges cold be the oil pressure is low. if you manually check it andits 'good then replace the oil pressure sender and see if that cures it. see which gauge is out of whack at aidle. you might also change oil and filter , use a good filter, napa-purolator-bosch-wix that may cure it as well
