When going above and maintain 140km/hr, check engine warning light will light and engine start stalling rapidly. But when turned off and start again, warning sign gone and engine back to normal.

Going at speed less than 130km/hr, engine works normally without any issue.

Hello,

This sounds like you hit a governor. Most vehicle's have a governor that limits the top speed that a vehicle can travel. The Power-train Control Module (PCM) can accomplish this in many ways, but it probably achieves this through fuel control and the opening times of the fuel injectors.

Thanks,
Alex

Hello again,

Okay, so when the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illuminated, did it blink or was it solid? And also it turned off?

Thanks,
Alex

It is a solid lit. When it lit, engine lose power significantly. Then when engine turned off, restarted then warning indicator gone and engine works normally again

Then if I speed up again n reached 140km/hr (about 3,500 rpm), then the indicator lights again.

Hello again,

Okay, do you have a code reader that will read and display freeze frame data?

Thanks,
Alex

It is displaying DTC 44 †IG SGNL 1’. Spark plugs are brand new and had tried changing both ignition coils and tested. Still same result.

Hello again,

DTC's consist of a letter(P,B,C,U) and then four numbers. Freeze frame data is whenever a DTC sets, like when your MIL comes on at 140/km hr, the PCM records all the Parameter Identifiers(PID)s, so they can be recalled and the technician can see, or look at the snapshot, of what your vehicle's engine was doing when the DTC set. Here is a link for you to go to:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/checking-a-service-engine-soon-or-check-engine-light-on-or-flashing

Please double the DTC and get back to us with what it is.

Thanks,
Alex

I don't have such code reader. I went to the car agent and ask them to check with their computer. They only told me the code is 44 IG SGNL 1.

This sounds like to me the engine is going into limp mode due to a dirty throttle bore. here is a guide to help fix the problem:
