I took the vehicle for regular service and because it is vibating alot especially when idling and my foot is on the brake pedal and stragely more so when I turn on the lights. The mechanic confirmed the spark plugs were ok.& cleaned them.He also replaced engine oil andoil filter.
However the following day I noticed the check engine sign and thevehicle was still vibrating.I took the vehicle for diagnostic which indicated P1300 & P1305(ignition circuit fault).Which was further translated as ignition coil 1&2 fault) But on checking, the two coils were found ok.The fault is intermitent and comes on and later clears. But it can stick on even when the engine is turned on overnight and later somehow clears up.

I don't know how you can conclude the coils are OK if you have an intermittent problem. Any component will test good if the problem isn't present when tested.

I think coils and plugs can easily be verified whether good or bad as part of simple diagnosis one can do. That seams exact problem am having with my car too. Please what could be the problem and are your suggestion or where to check or what to do?You didn't offer any suggestions or advice.
