I have the car listed above with 130,000 miles. I haven’t had any issues other than A/C going out at 110,000 and alternator afterwards. Recently I’ve been having the issue that a car is taking a long time to start and it’s not the starter as I have checked starter. It has the check engine light on and said misfire cylinder 2. So, I went ahead and changed the spark plugs and coils. After driving it for 2 days, the check engine light came back on, and it reads misfire cylinder 2 again. I went ahead and changed fuel injectors and after driving it for 1 day the check engine light came back on and it says misfire cylinder 2 again, but now the check fuel cap message is showing on message board. Has anybody else ever had this issue and how did you fix it?

Can I get the code number? Also, we need to do a compression test on cylinder number two to make sure the engine is okay. I have seen the EVAP purge solenoid cause this problem when it is stuck on, and it might cause the gas cap message as well. Here is the location of the solenoid so you can remove it and try to blow through it, you shouldn't be able to. Please go over these guides to help us fix the problem.

Also check the gas cap to see if the O ring seal is okay. If not replace the gas cap. Check out the images (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem so we can see what's going on.
