Check engine light gave a code for the accelerator pedal position sensor, I talked to lexus and they said to change the throttle positioning sensor so I did. The car still does the same you have to push pedal to the floor to get it to go and misses and barley idles. They said thoes accelerato pedal positioning sensors hardly ever go bad because on this model it still has the throttle cable its not built in the pedal like most so idk

You're overlooking the obvious. That's the misfire. Of course the engine won't idle properly. How long has it been since the spark plugs and wires were replaced?

As for the throttle position sensor, the fault code never says to replace parts or that they're defective. About half of the time the cause of the code will be a wiring problem related to that sensor. You may need a scanner to view live data and see what that sensor is reporting.

What's "idk"?
