Check engine light codes?

So, it blinks 12 which is the start of the sequence, the 32 which is the code, then 55 which is the end of the code output.

32 - EGR solenoid circuit, open or short detected.

So I would check the EGR control valve solenoid electrical connector to see if the wiring or connector are damaged. If the wiring looks good change out the solenoid. Also, make sure the vacuum line is in good shape. Clear the codes by disconnecting the battery once you find and repair the problem. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes

Do u have a procedure on how to replace this egr valve if this is what I need to do

It looks pretty straight forward, remove the electrical connector and then mounting bolts then the vacuum lines. Let me know if you have troubles.

I replaced this part but the check engine light is still coming on please advise me on what to check or what to do to try to fix this code and check engine light

Also is there a fuse that would control the egr circuit

You may have a clogged EGR port inside the intake manifold which is common on high mileage engines. There is no fuse for the EGR valve. I would make sure the vacuum lines are in good shape, they can fail can cause this problem. Also, remove the EGR valve and use a flashlight to inspect the intake and exhaust ports for the EGR.

And if there is a clog or something?

You need to unclog it, sometimes you can use a metal coat hanger and carb spray, other times the intake will need to be removed and hot tanked.

On and what am I supposed to do with this metal coat hanger ? Can u explain how to clean it or what to do

You use it to snake down the port to help break up the carbon while spraying carb cleaner to unclog the port. If you cant do this then I would remove the intake for cleaning, but try to make sure it is clogged first.

Ok well like I said everything else looks good and I did see some carbon in the intake so I will try cleaning it

Just disconnect the battery for 2 minutes.
