Check engine light and 4lo blinking?

The 4lo and the check engine light keeps on appearing on the dashboard after driving a 3-4km even after I changed the camshaft sensor code it gave me. After diagnosing it again, it gave me a camshaft code which I replaced and after driving a long distance again, the 4lo and check engine light appeared. It still gives me a camshaft code after diagnosing it again. Please is there any solution for this tragic problem?
Thanks

Hi,

When the 4lo light is on, does it actually go into 4wd low gear? Also, what is the code you found, and did you scan the CAN to see if there are codes in different modules?

CAN stands for controller area network. Basically, the modules are tied together via a few wires. This type of scan will retrieve codes regardless of the module storing them.

Here is a link explaining how it's done:

Let me know. Also, let me know what code or codes were found.

Take care,

Joe

Whenever the Check engine and 4lo sign appear on the dashboard, there’s a difficulty in the pulling/ acceleration of the car.

Hi,

The code you have can be related, or causing the power issue, but it shouldn't be causing the 4lo light.

Is the scan tool being used able to read the can-bus? With the info I have at this point, I'm not sure which direction to point to.
