My car is giving a P0401 code. I've replaced the following parts.
EGR valve
PCV valve as a kit
Map sensor
Mass airflow sensor

All listed above have been replaced in the last 2 months.
The exhaust system with O2 sensors have also been done in the last year.
The car also acts like a bad fuel filter under load/throttle. I've been to a garage once and was told that it was the MAP sensor. Have another appointment set for the 9th of July. Would love to fix this and avoid another $200.00+ bill. Car needs to be inspected. So light has to be off. Please help. Thanks.

I think the issue we are having is you have replaced parts in the past so you are assuming they are not the issue which makes this very confusing if one of them happens to be the issue.

This means we need to start as if you have not replaced any parts and go through the diagnosis for this code so we can find the cause. It may be one of the parts you have already replaced but that is the only way you will figure it out. Otherwise, you will have to start guessing at replacing parts you already have and that is just a waste of money.

If you feel the fuel filter needs to be replaced, go ahead and do that and it may solve the sluggish feeling but I doubt it would fix the engine light.

Let us know what questions you have. Thanks
